So this afternoon was pretty crazy, though. Tornados caused a lot of damage about 5 miles from here. And we got some pretty tremendous hail at our place - imagine piles of golf balls! When the Iowa City tornado happened last year, I was so oblivious to it that I didn't even know there had been one until the next day. But this one seriously spooked me. Anyway, we're all okay and I don't think anything was damaged too bad, and I got some awesome photos of the hail.

Friday The 13
Ah...... I love this holiday. It's the one day that, regardless of how long work is or how nasty the weather gets, if I can make it to midnight without bodily injury, I can call it a good day.

I have no idea what that is a picture of, but I presume it shows destruction of some variety?!
Wow! Yeah, what is that? I was just looking at pics of the Iowa City tornado the other day! I can't believe that was a year ago today.
They're big rigs that got blown off the highway. I would have liked to put a pic of the hail, but it may be a while before I get those developed. IC was crazy though. I remember walking around downtown the next day...
Yeah, I do! I could post some picture of it, but I'm sure everyone remembers! I still look at them and thing about how crazy it was. I wasn't oblivious to the storm but was untouched by it and the next day Andrew and I spend a few hours walking around takign pictures and then had Ethiopian food at David's Place with Daniella.
What are you doing taking picture of hail with a camera that has film that needs to be developed? Digital!!
