Matt's Day

Looks like you lost your bet DD. I read it, and I technically count as "someone"... just barely, but still.

So my weekend largely consisted of unpacking and assembling furniture and electronics at my parents' new house. Their stuff arrived last Thursday and they were feeling a bit overwhelmed. Aside from the fog, ice, and occasional heavy snow the weather was beautiful.

And now for my day at work. This is basically any day in my life:
6:40 Get out of bed
7:35 Leave for work
8:02 Arrive at work
8:02 - 8:25 Write emails to friends/family
8:25-8:50 Finish day's work
8:50 - Noon Wait for something to happen, surf the web, write emails
Noon - 1:05 Lunch
1:05 - 5:00 Kill time and wait for angry phone calls from public
5:00 Go home, unless there is a public meeting... otherwise kill time until 7:00

Looks like a pretty tight schedule. You don't even seem to have time for my favorite: 2:33 - 2:37 take a lap around the office holding important looking papers to revive blood circulation in the legs.

Might I recommend:
8-1 Ensure safety of trail system(aka ride)
1-2 lunch
2-5 Verify morning work.

Soon as we get rid of this pesky snow, I'm looking forward to the rest of spring.

Matt: where did the picture of you on the front page escape to?

My picture is still there isn't it? I'm not sure what you meant Jeff.

Our trails belong to Parks & Rec, not Planning, alas. Although, that said, my car is in the shop and I could use a bike to get to work right now!

Did you know we're getting MORE snow this weekend? Sheesh.

Matt- Did you ever get a new car or is this the same one you had?

Jeff and Matt - Where is Sreyoshi now? It sounded like she was in the WY/Co area?

Yes... I have a new car now, but due to our wonderful winter (and the millions and millions of potholes it created) I had to get my alignment worked on.
