There's been some talk about getting some people together in Iowa City, among other places... I just wanted to see how many of you would be SERIOUSLY interested in getting up (over, down, whatever) there sumetime this summer. I intended to make a visit at somepoint either way, but it would definately be worth coordinating if others are thinking the same thing. I know the Arts fest is June 1-3 and the Jazz Fest is June 29 - July 1 and both of those are a good time waiting to happen... or if there are better dates?
Are there any days you guys still in Iowa City wouldn't be around? And for those of you in Des Moines / Chicago / close enough to drive - would you be willing to transport folks from an airport if rates end up cheaper than through Cedar Rapids? Anyway - I'm pretty flexible, but I think it could be fun. Let me know what you think!

100% in favor of people getting together... just not sure about timing it with the work situation. I'll probably need to be a late addition to any plans, or I might have to bail at the last minute.

Yes, I'm in, why doesn't someone schedule a weekend (not the first weekend in August) and let's do it.
I'm already here...And yes, I would be more than willing to transport folks to and from the airport. Unless it's wiggins... Then I'd have to weigh my options.
Unfortunately I will not be vacationing at any exotic beaches...so, yes I will be in IC and available for transportation duties. Keep me posted...oh I guess that is what this blog is for.
I would love to commit to sometime this summer, but since I'm taking almost all of my PTO for two trips to Nebraska in May, I probably won't be able to. We'll be moving again sometime in July anyway. I probably wouldn't be able to afford plane ticket by then anyway. It makes me sad:(

I'm game- later in June/early July doesn't work for me, but the other dates would.
