Hey planners! Sit back, have yourself a beer, and tell your friends how the week was and what's new in your life. If you drink enough maybe you won't be able to tell this isn't actually Joe's.

Sick Day!
So I took a mental health day to evaluate some job prospects. Anybody recognize Emerald Lake there on the left? No jumping in today! Despite evidence to the contrary, it was actually quite hot and I got sunburned...
Aaahhh...Emerald Lake. Teresa and I were up there last year about this same time. Sinking in snow up above the knee...nearly slipping off a ledge along the trail.
But yeah - there's nothing wrong with a mental health day. If people don't want to be lied to about "sick" employees, then they should just give you time off to use however you want. Why should healthy folks (who keep insurance premiums down btw) be punished with less time off and no comperable incentives?

You get to take "mental health" days? That's not fair
Ummm... if my bosses ask I had some sort of stomach thing. Nobody wants to know more than that. "Mental health day" is a free vacation :)

Ahhh. That looks so great - I'm jealous.
